ACA & ATCC Send Letter Urging Review of Payment Legislation

On October 2, 2018, the ACA along with the Alberta Trade Contractors Coalition (ATCC) sent a letter to the Minister of Service Alberta, Honorable Brian Malkinson. The letter called on the government to: “undertake a review of legislation governing payment across the construction value chain.”

It is felt using the Ontario and Federal examples, that the government could work toward a made in Alberta solution. Both the ACA and ATCC offered their expertise in representing their members on a stakeholder panel.
