CCI Seeks Endorsement for Work Placement Funding

The Canadian Construction Innovation (CCI) and Canadian Construction Association (CCA) are teaming up to deliver outstanding work placement experience while generating necessary data to better attract and retain STEM workers. Currently, the CCI and CCA are applying for funding for up to 1000 new student integrated learning possibilities across Canada, in anticipation of the skilled worker shortage in the next 20 years due to retirement.

The CCI, the CCA and other fellow leaders would like to invite members to attract and place STEM students in the construction industry to help build a better Canada. In support of the application for the necessary funding to offset employer costs, they simply ask for your endorsement by signing the attached form letter and returning it as soon as possible to Mary Van Buren, President of the Canadian Construction Association (mvanburen@cca-acc.com).
