ACA Replies to the Alberta Government 20 year Infrastructure Plan

ACA recently accepted an invitation to provide input to the Government of Alberta for the proposed Infrastructure Act and the legislated commitment to release and regularly review a 20 Year Capital Strategic Plan. We sent in a letter to the Infrastructure Minister outlining our recommendations on the legislation.

Our letter introduces and expands on a number of ways to make infrastructure funding stable, affordable, and efficient for government and the industry. Keeping the 1 in 10 Albertans who work in the industry employed while continuing to create the infrastructure needed to continue to deal with the growing provincial demands.
