More Changes to WCB

In the past few years ACA advocacy identified industry concerns about WCB Review’s proposed changes to each of WCB legislation, policy, and operations.  At this point Bill 30 provides only the legislative changes to the WCB Act.

As per the attached minutes of the September 22, 2017 WCB Board meeting, employers need to be aware that for changes to policy and operations, “A significant number of recommendations (8) deliver net-new benefits or completely new approaches to compensation in Alberta”.

ACA will be seeking member input to documenting the impact of these changes to advocate on behalf of your interests.
