Government Seeks ACA Input on Contract Language

Alberta Infrastructure has advised ACA that they have found it necessary based on delays on recent schools projects to strengthen their contract language to provide for remedies in the event of non-compliance with the conditions agreed to in the contracts. Note that the amendments were incorporated into a procurement that is currently out for response with a closing date of May 30, 2017.  (Taber School). At the present time, AB Infrastructure is not contemplating to apply liquidated damages to design consultants.

AB Infrastructure has invited ACA to submit any comments/ questions/ suggestions within 2 weeks.  Please submit your comments to ken.gibson@albertaconstruction.net by May 29.
