Alberta Government Offers a New Business Energy Savings Program

Contractors, distributors, and manufacturers who sell and install high-efficiency products are invited to partner with Energy Efficiency Alberta to help facility owners and managers understand options to save energy and reduce operating costs.

Energy Efficiency Alberta is the new Government of Alberta agency dedicated to helping the province save energy through public education about energy use, rebate programs, and other activities related to energy efficiency.

This new program offers information and rebates that encourage organizations to choose high-efficiency models when purchasing products such as lighting, heating and cooling equipment, and water heaters.

The session discussions will centre on:

  • Customer eligibility information
  • Details on which products are eligible for rebates
  • How much products will be rebated
  • How the application process works
  • Guidance on how to work with the program to grow your business through increased sales and installations of high-efficiency products
