Sask Polytech Offers Online Carpenter Upgrader Course

The Online Carpenter Upgrader is an intensive, theory-based course designed for carpenters who have at least 6 years (10,800 hours) of varied carpentry work experience in the trade.

The course uses the Sask Polytech Carpentry curriculum to navigate through the National Occupational Analysis for the Carpenter Trade (N.O.A). The Interprovincial Journeyperson Exam (Red Seal) is an exam based on the N.O.A. The Sask Polytech Carpentry curriculum has been developed using the N.O.A as its template but is geared for Apprenticeship Training.
