Government Update On Builders’ Lein (Prompt Payment) Amendment Act
Government of Alberta announced through an update to the industry that they will be continuing to meet over changed to the Builders’ Lein Act.
Service Alberta has been meeting with representatives since May to achieve the goals of this legislation. Through these discussions and requests made by numerous organizations, they have determined that more time is needed to ensure a successful implementation.
