Buildforce Predicts Construction Levels To Steady
On Thursday January 31, Buildforce released its latest construction industry look ahead for Canada. In drilling into the Alberta summary there are signs of stabilization.
“Construction employment rose in 2018 for the first time since 2015, bolstered by continued recovery in new homebuilding and gains in the construction of non- residential ICI (industrial, commercial, institutional) buildings. The 2019–2028 outlook scenario projects overall construction employment will remain stable over the near term.”
