Apprenticeship Award Recipients Honoured

On Friday, April 21, 2017, the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board Awards honored top apprentices in Alberta.  ACA honored two of those top achievers with specialty awards.

ACA Chair Paul Heyens awarded Devon Froland the ACA Top Carpenter Award for 2016. Froland from Hughenden, AB had previously been in the RAP program before entering his Apprenticeship where he achieved a scholarship due to his hard work in that program.

Pavel Kozanov, from Calgary, received the Top Electrician award this year and the ACA W.G. Alexander Memorial award for being the Top Overall Construction Apprentice in 2016. Kozanov previously received top honours in 2014 as a scholarship recipient.

ACA’s 2016 two top Apprentices received their congratulations along with Northern Lights Bear glass sculptures and a cheque for $500.
