ACA Attends Infrastructure Announcement

The Alberta government held a media conference on October 11 where Transportation Minister and Infrastructure Minister Brian Mason summarized the impact of 2016 infrastructure projects. The focus was on the investment government is making in infrastructure all across the province – an investment that has seen a number of projects being completed this year and one that will continue with the many projects that are currently underway.

Vice Chair Chris Ambrozic attended the media conference on behalf of the association. As well he addressed the media regarding ACA’s policies and how critical construction is for the provincial economy.

Government investment this year includes:

• $80-million Gaetz/QEII interchange project in Red Deer, which will support 300 jobs
• The Southwest Calgary Ring Road
• The University of Lethbridge Destination project.
