Partnerships in Injury Reduction Presentation
Partnerships hosted a Breakfast with the Minister event this past Friday with the Honourable Lori Sigurdson, Minister of Jobs, Skills, Training and Labour, and Minister of Innovation and Advanced Education. Ian Hooper Director of Partnerships shared some of the work being done including how employers were part of helping to solve issues of occupational health and safety.
Working with all the partners they were able to develop three Best Practices completed in 2015:
- Leading Indicators for Workplace Health and Safety
- Hazard Assessment and Control
- Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities
Ideas for the projects came from feedback from industry and many of our Partners.
