Online Consultation of the Panel on Employment Challenges of New Canadians
At the request of Jason Kenney, the Minister of Employment and Social Development and Minister of Multiculturalism, the Panel is holding consultations to identify ways to better integrate newcomers into the workforce and identify the barriers faced by employers when hiring and retaining newcomers. It is also exploring successes, innovative approaches and promising practices. If you are an immigrant, employer, organization involved with newcomers, regulatory organization or if you have an interest or expertise in this area, the Panel would like to hear from you.
The submissions and views provided as part of this consultation will be used to develop a public report, expected to be made available in early 2015. Please complete the online survey by December 1, 2014.
