Delayed payment for work properly performed and invoiced is a significant issue for Alberta’s construction industry. Dialogue within industry has however identified that in some cases, payment is delayed because of issues within the payment process itself.
From the Summer of 2017 to the spring of 2018 ACA along with it’s local construction associations hosted a number of workshops to talk with members and other stakeholders about how to optimize the payment process.
