- Completion of numerous safety training and construction skills courses as part of my job with Laois County Council. Certificates in occupational first aid, confined spaces operations, locating and avoiding underground services, working breathing apparatus, domestic gas installations/gas safety and signing, lighting and guarding at road works, electrical and electronic engineering theory and mechanical engineering theory
- Installation, maintenance and servicing of domestic plumbing and heating systems
- Working with solid fuel, oil and gas heating systems, hot and cold water distribution systems
- Fitting all bathroom sanitary ware units
- Organising daily work as part of a repair crew
- Communicating with engineers, managers and members of the public
