ACA applauds Infrastructure Minister’s leadership to move toward implementation of prompt pay on Public Works Projects
ACA advocates pleased to see the government is moving toward applying prompt pay legislation to Public Works Acts projects.
Infrastructure Minister Nathan Neudorf heard industry and promised to take first steps despite the short legislative window of time before the next election. ACA applauds Minister Neudorf and the Government of Alberta for publicly acting through a first step with the change in authority contemplated in Bill 9, the Red Tape Reduction Statutes Amendment Act, 2023.
